#NOFILTER The Movie, the surf film that provides a more in-depth, raw look into the lives of some of surfing’s elite spotlighting Ian Walsh, Damien Hobgood and Bede Durbidge.

Not your typical surf film, #NOFILTER The Movie will give you the insider’s edge, allowing viewers to see a more personal side of those entrenched in the surfing world. Watch unfiltered profiles from big wave surfer Ian Walsh, who hails from Maui and can tackle Jaws waves like no other, and top WCT world tour surfers Damien Hobgood and Bede Durbidge.

“We really wanted to put together a film that goes past the surface in a truly unfiltered capacity. #NOFILTER The Movie really dives into the personal side of these athletes, profiling some of surfing’s accomplished, freshest faces and letting us really get to know them,” said Chris Drummy, Manager of Fox Head’s Surf Team.

Após a torção no tornozelo que tirou John John Florence da água desde a etapa Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast até agora, seu film maker Blake Kueny não viu outra coisa a fazer além de usar todas as imagens que tinham até ali, e começar do zero.

As imagens em Begin Again são assustadoramente boas, desde os clips feitos com a câmera Red e os super slows de Phantom Camera, até a cena que fecha o vídeo com Nathan Florence sendo filmado por John John de dentro do tubo, como nunca havíamos visto antes.

O tão aguardado momento de ver o havaiano surfando novamente está perto de acontecer, e muito provavelmente em tempo para a etapa Volcom Fiji Pro 2013. Por enquanto, este vídeo é mais do que suficiente.
